Privacy Policy

Who we are

IMMIGRIFY IMMIGRATION CONSULTANCY LTD. ("Immigrify", "we", "us") is a Canadian immigration consulting practice located in British Columbia, Canada. Services are provided by SHARINA PAMA JISON, a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant and member of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC member R1041089). We are a private firm. We are not affiliated with the Government of Canada or with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

What we collect

We collect personal information only when you choose to give it to us:

• Contact details: your name, email address, and phone number, together with any message you write to us.
• Assessment information, if we send you a private assessment link and you complete it: your education history, work history, language test results, and questions about admissibility, such as prior visa refusals, medical conditions, or criminal history.
• Booking and payment information, if you book a paid consultation: your booking is made through Google Calendar and paid through Stripe on their own pages, under their own terms. We receive the booking details you enter and a record of the payment. We never see or store your full card number.

Why we collect it

We use this information for one purpose: so that a licensed consultant can understand your situation, respond to you, and, if you become a client, prepare and manage your immigration matter. We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for advertising. We do not send marketing email.

Consent

We store the information from our public intake form only after you tick the consent box. The box is unticked by default. If you do not tick it, nothing you typed is saved. When you complete an assessment through a private link we send you, your submission is your consent to store that information for your file. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. If you withdraw consent, we will stop using your information, subject to the retention rules described below.

How long we keep it

Our regulator, the CICC, requires client records to be kept for six years. For that reason, records connected to a client file are archived rather than permanently deleted, and remain retrievable for that period. Information that is not connected to a client file will be removed on request.

Where your information is processed

We operate from Canada, but some of our service providers process data outside Canada:

• Documents you provide are stored in Cloudflare R2, a cloud storage service that may hold data outside Canada.
• Emails we send, including the notification created when you submit our intake form and the sign-in links used by our staff, are delivered by Resend, a service based in the United States.
• Encrypted backups of our records are stored with Google Drive. Backups are encrypted before they leave our systems.
• Paid consultation bookings are handled by Google Calendar and Stripe under their own privacy policies.

When information is processed outside Canada, it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction. We choose providers with strong security practices and we limit what each provider receives to what its role requires.

How we protect it

Access to personal information is limited to authorized staff, protected by verified login. Staff actions on records are logged. Documents are viewable only through short-lived private links. Backups are encrypted.

If something goes wrong

If a breach of our safeguards creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and report the breach to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, as the law requires.

Your rights

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to stop using it. Direct any request to our Privacy Officer: SHARINA PAMA JISON, sharinajison@immigrify.ca. We respond within thirty days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) or to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia (oipc.bc.ca).

Cookies

This website uses only strictly necessary cookies, which keep our own staff signed in to the private hub. We set no advertising or analytics cookies on visitors.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. We will not reduce your rights under this policy without your consent.
